PIAA Foglights

I don't have foglights and before I spend the money for the stock Honda fogs, I'm wondering if anyone has PIAA or any after market good quality fogs in the Si opennings...

I don't know if these are all I need or not, but I've been looking at em lately...

If that's all I need to get fogs hooked up to my car then I will likely go ahead and buy them. I just wonder why they're so cheap compared to Honda's official ones.

Quality doesn't seem to be as good, but mine have lasted - knock on wood - far longer than the OEMs. Light output is decent. I would consider buying better bulbs before installing, but I just reused the Honda OEM bulbs.

They are decent, but those prices seem high. They were cheaper off of eBay.

I'm pretty sure those fog lights are made by Hella, I've seen them making OEM style and look ones for the new Si's and saw them on Ebay for about what K2Motor is selling them for.

Please note though, those bulbs are not HID bulbs (the other 9006 link), they are just Halogen replacement bulbs with a blue tint.

I got the OEM fogs installed and they were $420 installed (ouch! $220 equip, $200 labor), but I want to keep my car all original for now.

If you're talking about the K2 fogs, there is no way in hella they were made by Hella.

AFAIK, it is, but you might have some issues with the inside portion of the wiring harness where it plugs into the fuse block, as there is, IIRC, an extra lead in the K2 harness. I have all OEM stuff save for the replacement lamps, so I'm not the best source, but I have read enough about these to remember that issue. I believe you may be able to order the OEM inside harness and switch separately from Honda.

Maybe those a different then, but I remember seeing aftermarket ones on ebay made by Hella for about $80-$100. I don't remember exactly because it's been a while since I was shopping for them. But they looked exactly like OEM fogs.

Thumbs up

I have K2motor Fogs on my civic and they are great AAA+. The inside wiring harness is different then oem. It's missing 2 wires, but if you install by the oem book excluding those 2 wires it works fine. Actually it's less work with that harness.
