Woofer buzz

Anyone else have a slght buzz / electronic sounding humm from the subwoofer?

I only notice it at low volumes - with certain bass notes.. I haven't fully inspected to woofer yet to see if there's a tear.

Anyone else? I usually have the sub turned up - but nowhere near load enough to blow it... wonder if there's a problem with the amp?

Are you sure it's electric? The 06-07 civics have had a problem with buzz from the rear deck that houses the subwoofer, I think it's a clip that breaks. Bring it in and they'll fix it under warranty.

Hope this helps,
Chris

Thanks Chris! No - I'm not sure it's electric. I can only hear it while in the back seat. It sounds like a partially-blown speaker - but I know I haven't abused it - so just might be the clip..

I don't have an issue with the back speakers/subwoofer, but rather the front passenger side door speaker. I just noticed it yesterday. It gets buzzy at times and sounds kinda like a blown speaker but I wouldn't think this would happen after only having the car two months. I don't play the radio that loud. I've never owned a brand new car before...Is this worth taking to the dealership to have checked out?
