Top Speed

I have searched and never found a clear answer what is the top speed on an 07 SI , and how long does it take, when does the fuel cut come in, I really want to know I hear people got up to 153 but what does the stock Si do

Stock and with aerodynamics I believe 135ish.

stock on a dynometer it went to 157 when the rev limiter kicked in

Yesterday, my stock 07' Si was taken to 130 with no problems. No rev limiter yet.

its between 130-135 mph and in 6th the gov kicks in about 5800 or 6000 rpm and wont let you hit vtec. thats stock though..

si's dont have governors

I really want to know the excat top speed like what will 5th gear go up to and will six go to about 160 with reflash

In canada they do.

The SI top possible speed stock is ~156mph at ~8300 rpm in 6th gear. Keep in mind people you won't get it that fast on the road, air resistance and friction and all those other fun physics resistors. if you can get it over 130 you are doing good.

yes. but thats not the governor kicking in. its the damn rev limiter

Was'nt this question asked a few months ago or so?I don't see any reason the 06' model would be different from the 07' and it was pretty much narrowed down to about 130-135ish.There is however a supposedly "stock" Si hitting around 142 on the autobahn and the video is on streetfire or youtube.
