Make them send a second, or atleast send it back at there expense. You shouldnt have to send it back though, considering its worthless to them. What a crazy defect, not sure how that could happen with a machine that molds or stamps them out.

Besides, how often do you look at the knob to see where your gears are?

I don't think any cars would put the reverse in the 1st gear position. Most people are used to 1st being, well, first. Do V dubs actually have R in that spot?
