Wait until 2008?

Just test drove the 2007 Si coupe for the fist time and loved it. Is there going to be any major changes for 08?

I hear leather is going to be an option. I'm sure the ECU will get a tweak or two to provide more torque throughout the powerband. Maybe I-VTEC engagement will come on just a bit sooner. Perhaps standard HIDs and I'm pretty sure quality control issues should be revised.

Nothing is definite. Leather is the big one, but I was speculating based on the absence of the RSX-S and logic. Those kinds of additions and changes make sense for this market.

A Supercharger accessory is not out-of-the question. Honda has partnered with Jackson Racing before. The difference is, that kind of thing was way ahead of its time and it didn't sell so well. Times are way different now.

I hope nothing changes, except an HID and leather option., Any changes that are standard will make me car worth even less.

Okay, i'm definently waiting for an 08. Seems like they are really gonna make it better- especially having the leather option.

We still have no idea what the changes will be, including leather.

No F.I. stock period, that would be remotely retarded to even consider that(I know, the dominator). Considering the S2000 is about to be replaced, the rsx discontinued, and the Si is much more than what it used to be I will say that the HID/Leather option will be likely. Throttle response/rev-hang/throttle body will be worked on. Fogs are less than barely likely going to be standard on the Si no HFP options will be standard and no hp/tq increase, maybe in 2010 which will be a simple increase in displacement.

why? this thread = heaps of speculation. and guess what, every car every year within the same generation will be an improvement (well... that's the intention at least hehe). so if you REALLY are wanting to wait for all the goodies wait for the last model year of the current generation. otherwise get one when you're ready to get one.

i dont htink leather and hids are worth the wait..buy the car now and when the 2008 model comes out jus buy the headlights and hopefully if the ecu is updated for 08 they can update ours..and id rather have the suede seats than leather...looks much nicer
