Question brakes popping?

i am just wondering if anybody else's brakes pop? the dealer told me that it is the floating something but my 99 civic has the same thing and they dont pop.

yup!!

I have a 06 EX and it will pop when you first put the brakes on after you first take off.... And after that I will not hear it any more!
Thats what I think it is..Just a small amount of play in them. Not enough to do any thing wrong.........

Never knew that brakes had popcorn sounds. Weird. Make sure there isn't any kernels left behind.

its normal since the brakes are hydrolic... and as torredo said, maybe the ABS.

I don't think he meant the abs system.

I think he meant the Orville Redenbacher sound produced by a machine that pops corn.

maybe he should remove the brake pedal all together, this would eliminate the "POP" sound all together now.....lmao j/k
