What you are saying does make sense, and I can see your point, but from the companies standpoint, and you can correct me if I am wrong...

For there to be high demand, you need a lot of people to have the car and want to mod it correct?

I am 100% sure that there are more EX/LX/DX on the road so it doesn't make sense to me as why they aren't jumping on the R18. Its one of the best i4 SOHC motor made by Honda yet.

Yes, there are waaay more r18s than k20 civics in the world. But, you have to understand that a huge chunk of r18 owners just bought their car as a daily driver and have absolutely no intention of doing any modifications. Anybody who wants a civic for performance will probably go with the Si anyway.

I guess the small crowd of people who bought r18s and want to modify them just isn't big enough to justify major r&d from mod companies.

I have one question, skittleslegend wrote also about LSD. Is really LSD FROM
CIVIC SI (FA5 and FD2) exactly the same as INTEGRA TYPE R DC5 JDM???

Because I've read that DC5R has CLUTCH TYPE LSD and CIVIC Si has HELICAL LSD, so they shouldn't be the same.

And I have another question. Do you think that LSD from DC5R will fit to ACURA TSX 06? I think yes, because of the same K-block and same transmission (but deifferent gears).
