Intake, MAF, and tuning
I did some searching, used the mother of all intakes thread, and i see random notes about having CEL if using an intake that does not have vanes/etc on it.
I do not plan on getting the car tuned, or using flashpro/reflashing the car due to the fact that I do enjoy my warranty. (yes yes I know, magnus. moss act... but there are still problems that can arise which are expensive using a reflash, which I do not feel like paying for at the moment) I was interested in the CT engineering air intake, but was wondering if the MAF would cause a CEL to come on using that intake and not doing any sort of returning/reflashing? |

thanks for the replies, i think i'm going with the CTengineering one, although i want to put on a dry filter (that oiled foam crap seems annoying to maintain)
does the CTengineering have vanes? (i think it does) and what size/type of filter will fit on the end of the CTengineering one as a replacement? (like a K&N, amsoil dry, etc) |
