dealer fixing gears

i went to take a ride with the service manager...he felt it so he said he'd order me some parts. i suggested that he should order 2nd and 3rd synchros and gears and he added that shifter fork could be bent(which honda would not cover) so he was gonna order that too....then he goes "if it's bent we gotta straighten that out so we can get warranty to pay for it" lol

anyhow hopefully with new gears/synchros and fluids, i won't have anymore problems

Awesome. My car crunched once after having the 3rd gear syncro fixed, but hasn't given me problems since. Gonna be testing it out more to make sure it's fine.

he asked me if i skipped gears....NOOO :)

i mean he's just trying to get paid...no favors or anything

i'm just glad it's getting fixed...then it's going to a used car lot! (j/k

they want the car over night so they're gonna give me a rental for a day... appt tuesday... W00T!
