Weathertech - I haven't got these yet for my 2006 civic but had them on my previous car. They install in the channel that the glass goes into so they are easy to install or remove and they don't get adhesive on the paint. I've seen a few people here that have them.

They keep any water from rolling off your roof onto your lap or shoulder when the window is open and you're driving. Also, you can park with your window open a good inch or so in the summer during a driving rain, and your seat stays dry.
