Easier way? 2009s only

Is there an easier way to change artists or atleast albums when listening to your ipod in the car? I always have to disconnect it and change it myself if I want to change it to a dif artist or album... Songs I can change, but it will just repeat the album...

I don't have an '09 ...

But I think the "tune" dial says "folder" on it, too . .. Try turning that?

Just use the AUX port and control everything from the iPod itself

Could do that, but usb charges it too! I like how first song after switching to usb shows artist name, title of album, and song name then goes to the selected, in my case artist name. Wish I knew how to make it scroll through all possibilities for every song!

just turn the folder knob, consult your owners manual its all in there. It works great in my 09 SI Sedan

Ya folder knob. The big dial on the right, lol. You might have to push the button and change it to artist.
By the way..everytime the ignition is turned off, it will start the folder back at "all". Kind of a pain if you have a lot of albums and want to get to one that is in the middle, like around folder 70, a lot of turning the knob to get there, lol, unless there's a short cut I don't know about.

Easy to do. Don't need to read manual, but I guess manual will help too. Use folder knob, press once goes to sound setup, once again goes throuh play list, artists, songs, and etc.

I have an 07 Si with nav. The 09s are more iPod friendly Ive heard, but what if you have a Zune?

same i have a ipod, and my sister has a zune, when she uses my car its the same

Thanks! Being iPod is a particular brand of MP3 player, it makes you think it works exclusively and only with iPod brand MP3 players.

easiest way, get the Navi head unit. touch screen has all the options your ipod does, select playlists, artists, albums, or master song list..

When you press and hold the Channel + or Channel - button on your steering wheel, it will change to the next folder.

Yep...I was confused by this thread until I realized that we were talking about non-navi cars. With nav, you just hit "iPod Menu" and go!
