07 Canadians: Do you have rev hang?

I noticed mine does. 07 Si.

In first, if I wind it up to 3,500 or so and switch gears, the revs just stay there and don't drop. I'm guessing it's the good old rev hang right?

Wasn't this a corrected matter?

Don't know why you're seeing it. My 06 Si doesn't have it and it was manufactured near the end of July (2006).

My 07 si has rev hang. At first I thought I was just shifting sloppily but lately I've been keeping an eye on the tach and it is definately hanging for 1-2 seconds.

I printed the TSB from this forum for my 06 SI and brought it to the dealer... the rev hang is terrible btw, I couldn't stand it, I got use to it after a while but it still made the car sound disgusting.

After the reflash it's almost like a complete fix... theres no hang that I notice and it's been about 2k miles now, possibly they can do the same reflash on your 07? I mean if it bothers you that much tell the dealership and if they want to be asses about it let one there service techs take your car up the street while your in it.

^ I'm sure the ECU's are the exact same, but... wait... maybe they're not in the US, because of VSA? hmmm.

Hi everyone, I'm a new 07 Si coupe owner from US. My car has the hang issue around the 4k mark (thats when i shift, and still in breaking in period). I thought the issue would be fixeD?

To answer other questioNs (a little off topic)
-Yes the VSA has an off button (located where the 06 optional fog light switch is)
-the new fog light kits are not shown on honda.com, but they ARE available, as iI have them installed on mine. The fog light switch is on the turning signal stalk.

Does that mean I need to get my Si reflashed? It kills me everytime especially shifting from 1-2.....i feel im burning and prematurely weraing my clutch!!!!!!!!

its not a hard concept here... the old ecu with the reflash, the factory program upgraded ecu (from hte later 06 models), and the 07 ecu are all going to be teh same as far as the rev hang is concerned.

if any new upgrades were to be done, there'd be a reflash update for us all to run to the dealers with

before the reflash, my rev hang was about 1.0-1.5 seconds.
after the reflash, my rev hang is < 0.5 sec. it's still there, but definitely much improved.

afaik, 07s shouldn't have this problem.

If I seriously drive my 07 Si this upcoming few days from now, and notice a DBW issue, I am NOT buying it.

It's not worth not buying man. It's a little buggy, but not buggy enough to question your purchase.

then it looks like you're not going to buy it...

look, honestly, its not that bad, its worse than i want, as i want absolutely no lag, but if you won't buy the car because of it, then you have some major issues... the car on the whole is an amazing piece of engineering...

i'm still amazed that you're actually questioning whether there will be lag, of course there will, there has been no more improvements released to the DBW computer algorithm.
