My Si has 1700 miles on the clock and the oil life meter reads 80%. Hope that helps...

the guage will vary car to car to car based on driving habits, temperature and distance driven. I myself have over 4000miles on my EX and my meter is at 70%, but i do all highway driving and never go over 4000rpm...
i wouldn't think anything of it in your case, that still is setting you for 5000mile oil changes which is basically bang on.
relax and go drive some.

I have 1900 on my SI and my oil life is at 70%. I broke my car in slightly agressively but very gently and gradually. My motor is very strong. :)

screw the oil life meter... i dont even bother with it, change the oil every 3k with reg oil and 5k with synthetic, that's how it's always going to be for me.

i dont even reset it until the maintenence reminder starts turning on

My oil life gauge is at 60% but i am only at 1850 miles that seems kinda low for that mileage could it be burning oil ?

Looks exactly right to me, you'd be at 0% at ~5000 miles at your current rate.

haha i really am not an angry person, it's just that this is the second thread he has made about his oil life %, if he would just SEARCH or use the link that were provided in his initial thread there would be no need to make another STUPID thread about his oil life.
