Just a thought about our throttle body

I don't know the exact size, but I've heard from a lot of places that our throttle bodies are pretty small, even smaller than an rsx-s. Has anyone thought of simply swapping our throttle body out for another DBW throttle body for more power? I figure the TL would be a good canidate. Does anyone know exactly the size of our throttle body? I wouldn't mind investigating this a little more.

You would also need to run a throttle cable to the tb connected to your gas pedal and mod your harness and ecu. It's more work then it seems.

why? I thought they were DBW as well? I could be wrong though. Maybe the TSX or RL have DBW and we could use one of their throttle bodies. I don't see why it wouldn't just be a direct swap unless they used different connectors or something

I think they are. If I remember correct. I was thinking TSX TB as we have the same head...not sure if that matters as far as fitment though?

im going to try and wait because i hate DBW and want a good cable insted. this however means the ecu needs to be hacked and a new TB but ill wait for the combo.

i know the rsx TB can be honed out to like 72mm or something like that. but thats almost the same price as buying a new one, as far as ive seen

I believe there's a reason why this won't work, but I don't have the information in front of me. I'll try to find it.

^ Skittlets, maybe because the ECUs are hella different. If you change the TB without hacking the ECU you're gonna have major problems.
