Unhappy Aerokit installation 2006 Civic SI troubles (with pictures).

I have no idea how the kits are suppose to be installed for the 2006 SI (double sided tape?)but it seems like the dealer I bought it from didn't do it right. Is the aero kit sides suppose to be tight all the way to the top near the rear? because it seems like I can pry the kit away with a simple pull of my finger.

Can anyone with the aero kit please confirm this?

no

Obviously their prep job wasn't done right. It's a shame these kits are SOOO expensive for just being a stick on visual mod. Post a pic if you can,

They are more then a stick on kit, it is actually bolted, and double sided taped is also used as reinforcment. I installed my kit myself and had no issues. I would take it back to the dealer too and make them fix it right....it is a pretty straight forward install not sure how they could really screw it up....

Installed my HFP Body Kit this weekend (PICS)

I also have a tiny gap that leaves and shit get caught in but I can't get my finger in there. If it's more than 1/8 inch, I'd go back to the dealer. I went back my 2nd day of ownership because 1 cormer had a bigger gap than the rest.

Yes you can go to ANY dealer. The pic on the left looks normal to me and I've seen 5 or 6 cars with kits. Pic on the right is not normal...take it back to the dealer

Is it easy installing it yourself? Haven't done DIY in ages, I'm pretty rusty. Was considering just getting the front, but am scared i'll break those little clips.

good stuff... the dealers are usually pretty good about this suff becuase its just billable hours to Honda Corp. for warrenty. Its not rocket science for them to fix it. Glad that they took care of you.
:)
post some pics when its done, before and after's would be great for future reference for other members.
