The poll is about what I should do or not.

I photoshopped a few pictures to see what this would look like and now I'm stumped whether to go ahead or not...

(This is why I was asking a few days ago about the dimensions of the bumper and exhaust area so I can retrofit my custom made 3.75" slash-cut dual tips [stainless & double wall] specially made for this car.)

SYNOPSIS LOL
- The first picture is what I am debating whether or not to do. It paints the lower rear bumper valance black like the HFP bumper without the kit itself. It also adds dual outlet exhaust tips.

- The second picture depicts the same twin outlet tips but with the factory white lower bumper.

SHOULD I PAINT THE LOWER HALF BLACK OR KEEP IT WHITE? is the poll question

I've been driving towards keeping it white as well. I have sooo many plans for my 'unbuilt' car its not even funny. From retrofit MDX HID's, custom made lower lip, NO BODY KITS, its hard to think where to begin.

I'm glad I have such a great community to fall on.

Ya, the HFP kits are black here, but I'm not feeling the HFP kit at all. There's already a few Si's in town (population of 80,000) with those kits.... I have to be original. The pics were photoshopped and DON'T resemble what the tips would look like.

ATRUHONDAGRL: Thanks for adding the poll ! Oh, and tips aren't custom made for me, I guess I made it sound like they were. They're in the custom tip section of a manufacturer specifically made for imports.

I would say white, but from that picture I actually like the way the black looks on the car... so i voted black.

Black wins it. That is, if you can get it painted for a decent price. Other than that, keep it stock. If you have exterior plans, might as well do those in one feel swoop, eh?

get a black vinyl decal made and put it on the area you want black and see how it looks after a few days of looking at it. if you don't like it just peel it off.

i say go black... either way that exhaust will leave soot on your bumper and make it look like poo down the road if you leave it white...

I wouldn't mess with it. But, if you a professional painter. You know what you doing from NOT screwing up your paint job. The black color is ok
