Arrow SI or G35???

Hello,

I am planning on buying a car. So now the problem is '03 G35 OR '07 SI - both coupes and 6spd.

prices are not that much a part, so price will not sway the vote.

which one seems to be better fit? I am looking for fun factor and the adrenaline rush, so what ya think?

I guess the key factor is also how much you're going to be willing to spend on gas. Neither car's are spendthrifts, but the G35 even less so. If you got the flow, go with the G35, though, as I've stated. Just put some wheels on her, and you'll be right as rain. Dead sexy car with just some simple wheels.

Honestly, it all depends on what you want to do with the car and what you're looking for in the car. Other than that, this thread is worthless. Should I get an F-150 or a VW GTI... not in the same league! lol

Actually, given that same choice, I chose the Si. Test drive the G35. It's a different type of car altogether.

The people on 8thcivic prove to me that my pre-Honda owning beliefs about Honda owners were not all acurate. I honestly expected most people to say "Get the Si". Bravo to non-knuckleheaded Honda owners on this site.

is G35 as agile as the SI?

its hell heavy though, nearly 700 lbs more and with the masive power it has, I thought G35 will be WAY faster, alas! its only .08s or so faster.

Can't use the back seat in a G35 I'm only 5'8" and I had to keep my head side-ways yet still touching the glass in the backseat. SI has more room in the back seat.

I looked at both..... SI was just as fun, and I put a lot of money back in my pocket.

If a new G35 and a new Si were the same price the G35 would win hands down, as a former used car owner (Nissan, Mazda -not including the Ford) I can't see spending that much money on a 3 year old used car compared to a never been touched new car. Unless I knew the previous owner was a fanatic in regards to maintaining the car I would never consider it -it's still somebody else's headache.
