Buy it with an American Express credit card. If he takes your money and no car is received you can get it back no problem and chances are he will get arrested.

Unless you plan on traveling to Quebec to check this car out for yourself, you would be a fool to buy this car. If you do buy it without seeing it in person, please don't post how you were duped on this forum. I will just link back to this thread.

Its a SCAM, forget about it. Ive seen these before where "we will go through ebay to make sure everything is fine" and then they send you fake ebay links.

yeah..i just remembered about my friend incident with this. he tried to buy tickets to the iron bowl football game (alabama vs auburn) and every tickets were like 400-600 a pair, he found 4 on craigs list for 200 and they tried to do it through ebay. he got to where they sent him the ebay link and nothing on it was clickable that was supposed to be (blue links and things) he asked me to look at it then i said it looked fake to me. then he sent an email to ebay and they determined it was fake.

Ok. So we established that its fake. Does this Si seem more reasonable or should I just go to a honda dealer and buy a certified one?

Nobody's going to mention that the mileage quoted from the listing was 23,633, and the mileage in picture 12 is 18,514? Seems a bit fishy to me.

Well, theres aletter i received a while ago that warned against buying from "sellers' in Canada. Basically, the theives run a scam and have you transfer money or however they ask for paymet to a candian bank account. The laws over there re differenjt so after they get the money, you screwed with no car. Try to look it up.

FIRMHONDA: you got any input on this? im not to sure about the whole canadian scam thing.
