Question Moon Roof Visor. Yey or Ney?

I can't make up my mind.

On the one hand. I absolutly LOVE how sleek the Si is. Every curve means something on this vehicle. And that includes the roof... And I don't want to ruin that.

On the other? I can kinda see how it could be pimp... But not really... cuz I've seen it on a Habby Si and I was mixed. But I have a NHBP. And I think it might go with the flow...

So. What do my fellow Si'ers have to say? Yey or Ney?

I don't have one because I think the sunroof is already small enough, add that visor and the actual open space of the sunroof is decreased big time.

A big NAY! Used to be that older sunroofs had no built in wind deflector when opened. Now there is at least a minalist deflector that pops up to lessen the noise and not appear totally unattractive. An addon, outside the car plastic wind deflector detracts from the appearance in my opinion. As do wind/rain deflectors attached to the side windows. Just my thoughts. :)

I say no but I'll let you decide. I have NBP without one and I see a guy every morning at Dunkin Donuts who has one on his NBP. He also has the silver dash trim piece which looks crappy in pics but l;ooks great in person. I'll take a pic of both tomorrow and you can decide

Nay. I think it breaks up the lines on the upper end of the car.

Oh! And once it's installed there's no going back if you don't like it. THey drill two holes into the roof line directly in front of the sunroof.

I personally like mine on my silver Si. I didn't want it on there, but the salesman threw it in for free along with the mud flaps and door trim gaurd. I didn't notice any drilled holes anywhere in the set up, but will go and check again.

Damn, the visor covers half of the opening. Might as well just open your sunroof only half way rather than buy the visor and install it.

Want to hear something funny. When I ordered my $30,000 07 Civic I asked if they could throw in a front lip for my car, after a few minutes on hold, comes back and says, "No, but we can throw in a visor" LMFAO. asshat.

I don't think so. He was asking me last week about the rev hang issue. I gave him paperwork today explaining what he had to do. I also wrote to check out this site for more info, etc. I haven't formally asked though

That's all I needed to hear.... holes don't get drilled in my car... well, except for foglights lol..

It's good to hear that I'm not alone in thinking the deflector would take away from the car :)

No, on the Si. Yes, on my sedan. There are no holes drilled. There are clips that come from underneath.... I need to double check that though.

Ok, that didn't take long. Look at the install instructions and you can see that NO holes are drilled. But, again, this is for the sedan. Might be different on the Si. Just check before taking somebody's word for it.
