fujita sri rubber vibrating absorber

anyone installed the fujita sri on their fg2? if so, does your rubber/urethane vibrating absorber go all the way down to the base when you turn it? mine stopped turning about half way. is it just mine? or is it supposed to be like that?

nevermind, fujita emailed me back, "The vibration mount does not screw into the bracket all the way. The bracket is not threaded all the way through"

so its designed like that
