Yes you do-and so do I!! Check out the feedback justtwisted left AND the auction:http://feedback.ebay.com/ebaymotors/...erid=chewy1400

"thanks so much 4 being cool about the deal lovemy civic great dealer"
Buyer justtwisted ( 293Feedback score is 100 to 499) Nov-02-05 06:17 4585178017

They "love my civic great dealer". Problem is, that the aution wasn't for a civic- it was for an Accord!

Ok, so now, I'm not going to pay over msrp. Because the dealerships that want over msrp keep pushing the price up and dont promise much. It makes me sad that some dealerships are doing this....

But still cant wait to be my Si

FYI. Koons has a White Si with Navi on their lot right now. No one has put a deposit down for it...probably because they want so much over MSRP.

Geez, and they told me that all of the Si's they are getting are already sold... lol....

Oh well think about 3k over msrp putting it around 25k. People can look at a TSX in that range.....

That's sad. It doesn't make sense.

A friend here at my work office is good friends with the Regional Manager of all the Koons dealerships. The manager is bringing the white Si over to his house just to look at it. He even offered it to him if he wanted it since no one put a deposit down for it.

Must be another shady deal going on.

You know it would be sad if someone was turned away.

I gotta tell you that Koons told me that they were not taking deposits, then called me two days later to tell me that if I put down a deposit I could get it from them most definatly in January. But they wanted 2995 over msrp. I can't really say anything bad about the sales person, but the manager set it up well. Telling me one thing and then calling me back and telling me another (as in we are not taking a deposit, then calling in saying put a deposit down for this car now at this higher price) (before they had told me 2k over msrp)

Went to Bill Page they had me come in because they wanted to sit me down and talk to me (the phone was not good enough for Carlos) They wanted me to put down a deposit, and then after I claimed that other dealerships were charging way less for a Civic they told me they would not come down in price because other people are willing to pay and that someone had put a deposit down for 6k over msrp. Unbelievable!!!!! (Oh by the way NEVER DEAL with a guy named Carlos at Bill Page Honda in Annandale. He is a moron, and has no social skills, and does not know how to answer questions without asking his manager first :face-icon)

Right now I've been talking to Sheehy Honda people and I'm going to in today to talk to one of their managers after talking to a sales person there yesterday. We'll see what happens!

*I guess since we were going to post up dealership exeriances thats what has happened to me so far*

Ok, just got home from Sheehy Honda along Route 1 south of Alexandria, VA. They had me put down a deposit down for the car. They asked for 1k deposit, I guess they wanted to know if I was really serious or just fishing around. I told the manager the story about the other dealerships and he was like wow....

But I told him I would give them a positive report because they were upfront and to the point and gave my MSRP. So Sheehy Honda in Alexandria is selling at MSRP!!!!

I will be getting it mid January (atleast should be) But I can wait now that I have it writting.

Glad to hear that Sheehy was giving honest info. What place are you in line?

I'm getting the 3rd Si......

They have a Blue Si coming in and they had not sold it yet, but I wanted the Black and only have to wait until January. The manager said that they should have the production date in the next few days, so they will call me with that. Then a few days after that they get the VIN# and will call me with that afterwords.

Heh, I should stake out the 'other' Honda dealer here charging a huge premium and see if any of the folks on the waiting list there want a quick deal, lol.
Keep in mind, dealers have to sell the car at a set price point. Anything over, and i mean ANYTHING they get to pocket. I was thinking of being a dealer, but im too young.

ahah i agree

before when i was shopping for my car... i went to the dealership close to my house. They said they didnt have the grafite pearl here but they did in the town next door. My dealer quoted me on 100 bucks over invoice. I went to Passaic NJ to their dealership... they wanted MSRP. And i basically laughed in their face.

The way i see it it all depends on LOCATION. My dealership is surrounded by richy rich towns. There they only employ NICE people who acutally area friendly to talk to. My dealer knows me by first name and calls me whenever he finds something out.

Passaic is a POS town (no offence) . They hire dumbasses who jump on you the second you get out of your car. And wont say anything about price until you sit down and fill out paperwork lol.

Im going tommorow to my dealer. Will try to ask him to change the tires to all season since i cant drive in snow in SUMMER tires =P and espeicailly since around 6 inches of snow fell today =P Summer tires = death.

Im glad stuff worked out for you.
