Does the US SI have Heated Mirrors

I was glancing through the Manual and it states confusingly that the US LX, certain Canadian models and then listed the SI all by itself that they have heated mirrors. I wasn't sure if it meant the Canadian Si or all Sis in general. They are supposed to come on when you turn on the defroster for the rear window. Its been cold but not cold enough for my mirrors to freeze up. Does anyone know first hand if we have them. If so thats pretty kool beans

What blows my mind is that the Canadian model has all the winter gadgets but if you drive 2 miles south of the Canadian border you can't get anything that has the same climate that time of year. HONDA...uh...HULLL-OH. Maybe there should be options available in the U.S.???

I dont' want to run wires, cut holes, put in switches and all that...just give me an option. I can understand not having them in Florida and Texas but when you are in Chicago and the temp is at, near, or below zero.....come on.

I'm only saying..maybe they can offer a "winter package" for us northerly people just like they do with the summer tires. Other car companies have that so I don't see why Honda couldn't offer it since they have all the parrts made already. I know the "L" trims have the heated seats. It would like to have had the heated mirrors at least on my Si. I can get buy without having the heated seats. I made a heated steering wheel. (shoot both vents towards the "10" and "2" on the steering wheel. Heats up nicely)

if i lived in chicago, i'd appreciate this feature. i lived in new england before. anywhere where there is cold climate and winters, the heated mirrors come in handy. even on foggy days, it works great getting the dew and consendation off the mirrors. i'm glad honda canada took away the vsa and gave us this instead .
