Exclamation New information about MY2007 Si's

It looks like Honda is finally getting ready to release more information on the 07 Si's. Check out this post from ToV. The OP is a salesman who always posts consistently reliable information.

The Brochures arrived this morning. The Civic Coupes stay the same except the before mentioned color changes on another thread.

VSA is a reality - standard on ALL Si models (2 & 4 door.)

The back of the Civic Coupe brochure gives us a glimpse of the Si Sedan. From what I can tell - it stays faithful to the concept - minus the flared over fenders.

Looks like the HFP wheel is no longer the Dark Gray/Bronze color. Appears it's been replaced with a silver face... Pricing should be announced within the next few days. And I suspect this will be blown open on Honda.com within the Week.

So, no major changes to the Si coupe except for VSA and the new colors. I assume the Si sedan will look as much like the concept as the coupe looks like its concept.

I like the fact that the HFP wheels will now be silver instead of gunmetal gray, I never really liked that color. All in all I'm happy with this, I just want some production dates and official pricing.

Oh yeah, if this is already posted somewhere and CameronJr9 closes this thread, I give up.

I've been waiting since 7/5/06, and was just told that my Si will be an '07 - built the third week of September - to arrive at my dealer first week of October.

I've only done that to you once. This is great info. Thanks for the heads up! I think we're all eagerly awaiting ANY information we can get about the new Civics.

The reason I didn't get the HFP Rims at time of closing was because I didn't like the gunmetal on black look (the rims themselves are nice - just not on black).

I've been holding off on looking for rims. I'm glad I did. Now I have honda to consider again.

Come on, you must have done that at least three times to me. Oh well, I finally got the scoop, kinda.

YES. I feel the exact same way. I don't like the look on white either. And I whined and complained on TOV about it. I honestly think that Honda reads our feedback on websites like TOV and here and responds.

Let's hope there's some merit to this rumor!

On that note,, I'd still like to add that the honda oem wheels are heavy

There are two new colors for 07 Civics, Barrego Beige Metallic, and Green Tea Metallic. I'm not sure if both of those will be available on the Si though.

Boo, I liked the gray/bronze wheels. They matched GG perfectly. Oh well. If I got an Si I'd probably put that money toward Navi instead.

Neither of those are available for the Si.

The other confirmed change (the first being VSA) for the Si is an updated color finish on the stock wheels.

Yeah, I just read about the new finish for the stock wheels. They will be "Sparkle Silver." I'm not sure if that's a new finish or if there are other Honda/Acura wheels out there with that finish.

Its vehicle stability assist it helps the car prevent it from rolling over, if an accident were to happen. I think you have the option to turn it off too. I just saw the TOV video of the RDX test and they can turn it off,so i would imagine you can turn it off and on the 07 models.

VSA on 06 civic?

See my response in that thread. Someone should sticky the definition of VSA...

I'm sure it'll be easier to explain when hondanews.com posts its PR article on VSA and how it's being added across the board and on the new Si, etc etc. I say give it a few days, and we'll all be able to read about it on Honda.com.

Just as an FYI:
A guy named "...Will07Si..." in NY has posted on Honda-Tech.com that he put a deposit down on a 2007 Si (and says the price, too). The link is to his posting.
