Yes, but compared to X's intake it's night and day, from what I've read. But that is off topic. Just do a search.

They introduced this DBW system to iron out the bugs. The next gen of cars will drive by themselves. There's a lexus out now that can avoid hitting obstacles in the road if the driver isn't paying attention. **** but true. They may as well just cut our balls off right now!

And hand them back to you in a little red purse with some makeup and eyeliner...

I am pissed. I went to the Honda dealership about this because I DO have these problems and they say that there is no such "reflash." My VIN is like the one you mentioned and I told them and they're like "noo noo it would show up in the system." Next week when I go I will tell them pissed off.

Had an intermediate service at Honda of Santa Ana, they also fixed the ABS oring recall and I also got them to reflash my Si.. It actually works.. the guy at the service told me he can't just have it done because a bulletin exists, so he wrote up that the customer (myself) was complaining about the rev hang..

thanks OP

I have an 08 sedan and my engine hesitates in first gear when it's cold. I also have the rev hang.

Well, I just got the reflash done so here are my 2cents. The hang is still there, its not a night and day difference but I do see a slight improvement. Instead of the rpms holding for a second it immediately begins to drop; slowly at first and then pretty quickly after another second. I haven't noticed anything different in the sense of performance and I'll see if my fuel economy is affected, which I doubt. Off subject I just put in 2 quarts of honda's new mtf. Shifts for the most part are smooth. 3rd can still be a bit notchy "rarely." No grinds or anything. I'm going to try amsoil synchromesh and see how this compares. Good luck on the reflashes!

So from what I gather...even the '08s have this rev hang? There is a reflash though?

reflash

I am going tomorrow to see if They will do it for me .So far my dealer has been very reasonable so I am hoping to eliminate the 2 second rev hang that really sucks
But is is much better than having tranny problems
I know that as for racing when shifting i snag 2nd gear {on the track of course} and its due to the rev hang
it happens less when I got a lighter shift knob as well I love my razo knob only 160 grams less thank 1 lb about 1/2 the weight as stock and its made of titanimium
I am excited to get the reflash ,thaks every 1 for the sticky
