Smile My SI with Fujita SRI and Hondata IMG

The first run was full stock engine. The second one with the Hondata IMG and the Fujita SRI. The third is with the same as the second but with 5 minute cool off. I think the Hondata with the Fujita are very good conbination. Please post your reactions. If you want the full dyno file please let me know. Thanks. =)

Did you dyno the car right after driving it? That baseline seems awfully low. Perhaps it's just the type of dyno. But nice pulls.

For me the dyno is OK more close to the types of numbers that I spec from a 200hp car in a dynojet. The ones that I cant understand are those dynos that measure 180-190 hp @ the wheels. Since cars always lose like 15 to 18% of hp in the power train. Maybe they run the dyno in a low gear, Im not sure if that affect the measurement.

Good question I remember that I run my 99' Tiburon on 4th gear where the ratios are 1:1. That is the most logic gear to measure your power.

so, 197hp equates to 160 at the wheels ?!?!?!?

That's a lot of loss.

So, at the flywheel the Si is 197, but with this combination it'll be 220+ ?

That's crazy, 160hp. B16 territory.

Dude the Stock B16 found on a 99-00 SI throws 130->140whp

160->170 whp is normal for a engine rated with 200 hp @ the flywheel on this type of dyno.
