Stupid Effing Deer.

was going around a sharp turn late last night, and almost ran into a Deer. Hit the breaks and slid out into the ditch

Car seems ok, other than the front bumper needing to be replaced. Bleh

I swear this car is cursed.

Hitting it probably would have caused more damage, and most likely killed the deer

That sucks, but it's better than having hit the deer - I think it would've been worse. You might also want to check your wheels and alignment.

Yeah, have an appointment for Monday to get the bumper replaced, and check stuff out.

Few dings on the passenger side near the rear window, guessing from the sign i hit lol

as bad as it sounds u shoulda hit it. called the cops and got a report, then gone through insurance...

a guy cut me off a month ago and i ran into a curb going 45 trying to avoid him, bent rf strut, lower control arm, messed up alignment, 2 flat tires, and 2 bent wheels. cop said next time hit em, it woulda been his fault then.

so moral of my story is, even though its not the best thing to do, its what u gotta do, hit it.

Something similar happened to me last September. Guy didnt see me, pulled out of a side street. I avoided him and hit a curb, then slid into a brick wall. ~6k damage, but my fault because I chose to avoid him heh.

This one wasnt so bad, ~230 for a new bumper is nowhere near as bad as what a deer would have done.

true, but he could have slid into a couple trees also, could have totalled his car or, even hurt himself..... its these split second decisions that are quite difficult.

Indeed. Don't regret the decision, really. But having to make those kind of spit-second decisions sucks
