Anyone slide in their drivers seat?

Maybe its just me... (I searched, and didnt see much)
But am I the only one who would like more lateral support from their seat? It seems like the back has enough side bolster, but the bottom doesnt. Im 6'3" and 190.

The car is stock, with only a progress RSB, and it seems like Im already overdriving the seat. even though the rest of the car could take much more...

Thinking about trying to strategically locate sparco side bolster pads on the seat... doubt I could get them in a location that would make any difference, but other than that, Im out of ideas without buying a new seat.

i slide sometimes. but thats because im only like 140 lbs. lightweight ftw!

have you been on the e60 m5? the side automatically grabs you. it's weird but it holds you in place. not sure if the have aftermarket stuff like that though.

I think we got ripped on the seat adjustments. They could have added a tilt that isolates the bottom cushion. Raising/lowering the seat tilts it because it's on some kind of arc.

I guess they saved that for the Accord.

But it fits me perfectly and I'm 6'.

About the only thing I don't like on our seats is the lack of front-/rear-only tilting, because even after 3 years, the front still feels too low angled.

It's better if you heat the lube up a bit. Amsoil works best. No "grinds".

I guess they need to build them to fit such a wide variety of people, that they cant be perfect for everyone.. I may have to steal one of my recaros out of my other car and bolt it into this one... because I just cant seem to stay put... if I raise the bottom, it gets a bit better, but then it feels like my head is sticking out the roof... (like mentioned above) I even have a CG lock (seatbelt lock) on the seat and it still doesnt help...

I guess the easiest and most cost effective fix is to drive slower in the curves.. but thats boring. :)

here's what you do: push the seat down a couple notches, then buckle yourself in tight, then jack it back up to your normal height. belt gets nice and tight and you don't go anywhere

Ive done that a few times, but the problem I have found is that I end up with the belt so tight that I cant breathe for the long drives. lol.
