Do you think you'll make the jump to the 9th Gen (7th gen si) Civic Si? 2011

stay w/ the 8th gen.?
jump to another Honda product?
or move over to another make/model completely?

I have a fg2 now, but unless honda puts out the next civic boosted I'm leaving the honda family.

Actually I'll leave the honda family anyways. I love my honda but after 4+ years of fwd auto-x I believe I'll need something different to challenge me.

I'm thinking; mitsu ralliart lancer or the next gen silvia.

Probably just going to keep my FG and drive it till the wheels fall off...not saying I won't get another car in a couple years, but it wouldn't be another Si since I'll still have this one.

I think I will keep mine since it was a gift from my mother. It'd be cool to know what the new models will have to offer!

In 3 years time, I hope I can afford to buy my own place before I blow more on a new car.

In case they take out FBP in 2009... I would only buy a next generation if they bring this sexy color back...

The landscape of performance cars, and cars in general is going to change drastically over the next 5-10 years. I'm not going to hold out for anything, since it may end up very different than what they had planned - if it comes at all.

It would need boost, or a power jump to compete with the new boys in town, ie. turbo cobalt ss, MS3. Essentially it would need to have some serious performance advantages over my current Si.

With gas going upwards of $6 per gallon next year, I'm either going to need a huge raise at work, or a different mode of transit within the next couple years. When I bought my first Civic, gas was half of what it is now.

Who knows, maybe I'll win the lottery, in which case I'll still probably choose something other than a Civic.

It would have to be lighter/funner/nimbler/called CRX and be a sports hybrid with a 9k redline.
