Why ugly colored interiors?

Yeah, interior colors on the hybrid are bunk dude. I just traded in my hybrid for an Si. Even though I wasn't a fan of the blue hybrid interior (i got the tan), I should've gotten the blue. Tan was way to light colored and the seats and floormats showed way too much dirt. They did clean up however right before I traded it in, with a warm, damp towel, and some mist spray carpet cleaner.

The seats are actually not bad, but the choice of pairing it with beige plastic is epic failure.

That, mixed with a gray dash, makes a rather unappealing interior.

Yea thats the main reason i didn't get an RSX_TS, back then. And went with a Wht EP_Si instead. Wanted Wht Exter. and Blk Inter. H.O.A Sucks at Interior color selection!

It's called having some character, people. Take chances. Be different. The regular Civic Sedan and Coupe play it safe with the medium grey and black. I'd say the upholstery on the seats is an even nicer material than what is offered on the other Civics.

I had to see them in person before I could make up my mind. The in-person impression is different, and more positive, than judging on photos alone.

BTW, there are a few black bits in the interior, but they're in the minority. For example, there are the door handle consoles and storage bins.

I don't think it looks that bad. I would drive it. I would rather have the si's interior however.

I don't think the interior of the Hybrids looks that bad. What I don't like about the hybrids is that they come only in A/T and have no sunroof.

blue console, blue seats, putty doors, pillars and headliner. Blue carpet, putty panels down low. It frames out nicely. It grew on me, after spending 3 hours a day in it (my daily commute).

the interior is nicee. thats what i think. its unique in its own way.

hybrids are different now in this world. sooo the inside has to be somewhat different.

blueeeee is nicee. to bad they dont give you a option to change the color of the interior.

Probably because people wouldn't buy green as an interior color in most cars. Just because its a hybrid doesn't mean going all out and making it flashy will appeal to everyone.

Besides if they went to flashy we might all go around putting gas hog stickers on SUV's and sports car, and talk with our eyes closed.

i read in a magazine once that honda thought it was bad luck to have all black interiors especilly if the car itself was black

You guys think the blue/black/tan thing is ugly? I actually like the blue seats, the match the gauges and the black dash looks good too. I have an NHBP LX coupe with the "ivory" interior. It has tan seats, tan/brown doors, and a brown dash on a black car and I think it's ugly and looks tacky. I think the hybrid blue/black/tan scheme would look way better on my car, you hybrid guys have it lucky!
