Odd Smell on my Hybrid

Hey guys,
I have noticed a strange smell two times now in the only 1200 miles I have put on the car. Both times it was when I pulled it into the garage after my trip home from work (45 miles or so). I don't know exactly how to describe it, but essentially it smelled like something was smoking or burning? Any thoughts? I was going to call the dealer, but figured the forum might help more than the dealer...

this happened to me aswell with my hybrid. Only happened twice, and both times were within the first 3 days of owning the car. I attributed it to my tires, the fresh rubber heating up. Have had the car a month now, haven't smelt anything odd since then.

It comes from the catalytic converter. This is common on all new vehicles and will go away. Usually in the first hundred or so miles. You should have your car checked if it has taken this long....

It's called gasoline. Hybrids usually don't drink petrol as often as conventional cars. :)
