Noise occurring duing Regenerative Braking

I have a 2007 Hybrid, < 3,000 miles.
Has anyone else experienced a whining noise > 10 KHz when the regenerative braking kicks in? Is there a fix for it?

I think its because the brakes end up turning some type of generator as that energy isn't completely lost.. That noise is coming from the device or generator attached to the brakes..
