Oh... I almost forgot. I went with just a random pair of tires to start with. Nexen 5000 (I have never heard of them) in 215/45/17. They are an all season with an "H" speed rating and a wear factor of 420 ($67 per

). They have deep water channels and might be OK to start with. Has anyone found or have advice on a real low resistance 17" tire?

I will weigh the new tire/wheel's when they come and post it (and the takeoff's). This will not account for the change in perimiter mass but should help provide another "example" after I get them rolling.

ive got a question.

how would the mugen rims be on the civic hybrid?

they are really light but bigger of course.

Would there be any rub or anything?

the stock hybrid wheels are fugly

They would rub slightly when you hit bumps, but it isn't bad at all.
