VERY nice, Where did you buy the lights, I noticed them at ShowOff Imports, but they told me they did not have them in stock yet. Also tried GMTEC but not in stock as well...
seems hard to get.... have a black hybrid myself and would like to go for the same lights you have....just some doubt about which version, you have the all black, but there is a chrome as well...what would look best...mmmm |

Black and chrome goes nice together... but you gotta like that 'bling' factor. I don't, so I ordered black. Just a matter of taste pal. Anyway... I've ordered them straight from Asia, via this e-bay webshop; TheSpeedline and payed safely via Paypal. Lots of stuff in stock, very fast delivery and great backservice. Had 1 minor issue and got a new spare part send immediately. So, definitely recommended. One tip though... ask for quotes and order directly via their e-mail address "service@thespeedline.com", you might get a better deal this way. Also, when ordering the lights, check and make sure you order the correct drive side... they're available for left and right hand driven cars! I've also ordered my mugen grill with them... so all in all I'm very well pleased with their services. Oh... and for the record... I don't get anything out of this... I only replied to your question, that's all. Goodluck and kind regards, -HCHybrid Last edited by HCHybrid; 04-18-2009 at 04:56 AM. |

Thanx m8, i am currently outside the country (dutch like you) but as soon as i am back i will go check this out.
I am waiting for GMTEC (GMTec - Dreams come true ..:: Oud-Beijerland ::.. | Home) 2 months now and I want to get this thing moving before the summer is over ;-) yes black or chrome...thing is, the fog-lights are chrome...so it is perhaps better in sync to keep the headlight chrome 2...kinda ying/yang idea...but, i thing I will go for black anyways ;-) as soon if i got them on, ill post a picture...togheter with my Metalfond rims. thans for the quick response !

To the Dutch drivers, HCHybrid, Syntax Error, and any others:
I am trying to get an email address for any reliable Honda dealer's PARTS DEPARTMENT in the Netherlands. I want to order Euro parts for my Civic Hybrid, and have determined that your country is the best place to shop and order these parts. Please, if you have any email contacts for Honda parts departments, please email me privately. Thanks! |

Here's some pics of my civic hybrid/leather. I just picked it up a couple weeks ago. I hope to put my sound system in, in a couple weeks.
Current Mods: - Exhaust finisher (from a civic lx-s) - pro-clip phone holder (from my old fit) - Stainless license plate frames with mugen bolts on the rear - pin strip removal (why the dealer put tan pinstripes on is beyond me) future mods: - pioneer avic700bt / elemental designs e9.65i/ ed nine.2 amps / ed 7kv.2 - tints ![]() ![]() ![]()

Am i correct in thinking you have the following back-lights as well ? http://i19.ebayimg.com/03/i/000/d6/32/fc57_1.JPG On your photo's they seam more gray then black...as my Hybride is black i want to make sure it is indeed more black-ish then gray-ish... Also, while I am asking you :-) Did you install it yourself, how difficult would that be for a none-technical person ?

Hello stevenvillatoro
Not sure if Holland is the best place, we only have the hybrid version of the sedan model of the Civic (the car shown in this thread). The exact reason why its so hard to get for example those lights. There is a shop called ShowOff imports which is about the biggest store in Holland for Japanse cars. I bought some stuff there and they are for sure trustworthy. Parts for the civic are now slowly getting to the market here...but still...seems to take forever...:-( |

Pictures by HCHybrid - Photobucket DIY is possible but you gotta remove the entire bumper first. If that's too scary for you... don't do it. Once the bumper is off it's a piece of cake though. So shouldn't cost you much if you get it done. Quick question in return for you... did you go for that chip-tuning option? I've read some of your lines in another forum talking about it. Please fill me in... if you like... PM in dutch is ok too... Last edited by HCHybrid; 04-23-2009 at 04:22 PM. Reason: typo |

No not yet, the first time I got in contact with GMTEC the owner was telling me he was about to get this sorted with Honda NL (to become a official supplier for Holland). He made some progress on the subject and claims to get more Horsepower AND get even more efficient with fuel at the same time...
sound a bit conflicting to me however :-) anyways, problem is that the main-chip thats needs replacing is fully encapsulated into a gelpack and getting it out without damaging the motherboard seems to be very difficult. This all was last jan/feb. Currently he is building a Civic hybride to look as a Mugen type R. Don't know the status of the chip stuff at the moment. Did find another thread somewhere where someone build a new airtake into the hybride...claimed the sound improved quite a bit (and it will perhaps give a litte better performance as well...be it just a little). Problem in my case, it's a lease-car...so whatever I do, i must be able to put it all back towards original at the end of the lease... last week installed a new Audio system...which made a trip to the Czech Republic last week (work related) much better as I could watch DVD during the driving...not very smart ofcourse, but is was all Jay Leno stuff (and carbaret)...stuff listing too is more important then watching :-) Kenwood Electronics Europe | Multimedia Receivers > DDX8022BT with the backview camera to have that Lexus feeling ;-) Last edited by Syntax Error; 04-23-2009 at 04:58 PM. |

I also have the Civic Hybrid sedan, and need original Honda parts that are on the Holland-specific Civic Hybrid version. These are original-equipment parts, not aftermarket non-Honda parts. I have sent email to various Honda dealers in Holland via their general "info@" addresses, but none has replied yet. For that reason, I need to find direct email address to Honda dealer parts departments in Holland. The parts are readily available but finding the contact info has been very difficult. |
