JDM Civic Hybrid pics

Here's my contribution - JDM Civic Hybrid. No idea who owns it, but spotted it in a parking garage in Osaka, Japan and had to snap a few pics.

Here are some pictures. This is the (in Canada) Sparkle Grey Pearl colour, known as the Magnetic colour in USA. The silver and grey exterior coloured HCHs get a two-tone blue and ivory interior; The other colours get a strictly ivory interior.

In the last photo, I caught a glimpse of a "true" grey metallic finish. The sun was setting. Under most other conditions, my car looks like it is part of the sky, or at least the tinted glass of an office building.

nice pics. Looks like you added a lens flare to the lights and hood in the first one, great shot!

I have to admit though i really don't like that interior colour. Particularly the fact that the seats are a different colour than the door panels, it's almost like they put on interior door panels from a TW hybrid. My TW hybrid has the ivory fabric throughout.

De-badged the rear, I see. What about those massive wheels and tires? Don't you need wheel arch extensions if they're going to stick out like that?

duk: I didn't use any photographic enhancements. I only painted out my license plate.

Question Enkei RPF1

I have about 500 miles on my 08 HCH and love it...... except the wheels! I am looking at the Enkei RPF1 in 18x7.5 +48. 17lbs is very light for an 18" wheel and they are not too expensive. If money were no object you could do a Volk RE30 in 18x7.5 +50 at only 15.5lbs per wheel (and be broke). Gruppe-S is nearby and they recommend the RPF1. Any comment on this route?

Since then the car has settled a bit lower. Right now it sits just about perfect in my opinion for a daily driven car.

Gotta take a new pic and post soon

Nice hight w/ Eibachs... would like to see settled pics.
