I was thinking about changing the rims on my hybrid as well but then I decided not to primarily for two reasons. First of all, I want to achieve the best mileage possible. If i wanted to put rims on my car, I would have just got the EX and achieved pretty decent mileage anyways. (no direspect to those who did). And secondly, I think the rims are what distinguish the hybrid from other Civics. They've started to grow on me. But whatever you decide to do, just remember that it's your choice. Do whatever you want. It's your car.

![]() Since then the car has settled a bit lower. Right now it sits just about perfect in my opinion for a daily driven car. Gotta take a new pic and post soon

Do Civic hybrid owners share a camaraderie with other hybrid owners (like the way most Si owners thumbs up each other) or is there a bit of "my hybrid is better than yours" mentality when a Toyota Prius stops nearby (like when a dim witted Mustang owner looks down on a fast import)?
Since the technology is fairly new what made you guys/girls select Honda over a Toyota (aside that the Prius is funny looking but gets better mileage)? |
