Fujita Intake for the 06+ Hybrid

Hey guys, we have the new Hybrid Intake from Fujita in stock and ready to ship at AutoCityImports. Great way to add a little HP and save on gas mileage too.

2006+ Civic Hybrid Fujita Cold Air Intake

Thanks Guys!

Nice.

Do we have any data related to specifications and FE performance available? Which lab or shop produced these and under what conditions?

Modifying an HCH-2 is a pretty significant issue especially when the vehicle is so sophisticated and already finely tuned for its goal. I am open to enhancements of my 06 hybrid with smart add-ons, I just need to make sure that the enhancements deliver without compromizing the primary goals of the vehicle.

PS: I am very familiar with CAI and their benefits for the performance tuner market. However, from an engineering standpoint, I am not sure of the benefits of a CAI in an 06 HCH.

Cheers;

well, just because the HCH's arnt exactly tuner vehicles, CAI's can improve air:fuel ratio. If you increase your air, and leave your fuel setting as is, your be burning a bit more efficiently, i think. it might be too lean for a hch tho, probably throw a CEL >_o

just my .01

Just curious - If you add an after market option like this CAI, AND then have a problem with the engine can Honda avoid servicing the car under the warrenty?

I wouldn't trust a Fujita intake system in my car. I have seen lots of complaints on lean air/fuel Ratios on numerous vehicles. The Civic Hybrid is really fuel efficient and Honda runs them fairly lean, so how much leaner will they lean it out. Have Fujita supply a dynograph with a before and after Air/Fuel.

They have to prove that part caused the problem.

Hi guys, I'm gona put a K&N CAI into my HCH 2007 I didn't put the fujita CAI because off the warranty. Here in Portugal Honda finish with the warranty if we take off original parts like the CAI original box ( they are stupid, but anyway this is Portugal and this is a 3th ou 4th world country)
I apreciate a feedback from who already put a kind of this CAI, did it improve the gas mileage ?
Best response ?
And what about HP ?

Thumbs up cold air intake on a hybrid

my hybrid is an 04, but here is a picture of my cold air intake personally i love my intake i actually got about 2-3 mpg better and in the 3 thousand rpm zone (and above) it really sound delicious (like on fast and furios) and too me it feels a little faster. maybe 4-7 more hp and + more head into headrest. but this is an 04 hch. i hope this helps u
