I won't lie, those altezza tail lights are disgusting.
Luckily it's an easy fix. Just buy a red overlay from graphixpressions. GrafiXpressions - Express yourself in vinyl form!... Other than that everything else looks great

Here's another vote against the tail lights. Please consider restoring the OEMs. A little classiness in the tail will help sell the rest of the modified look of the car.
These replacements just look shockingly tacky and out-of-place compared to what they're replacing. And being an 8th gen Civic, you chose to replace one of the most unique and subtle OEM tail lights ever seen. I mean, what other car has "jelly tubes" for rear turn signals? Yours doesn't, anymore, which I think is a shame. |

Yeah, I would agree with the rest of the guys that responded on here...
1.) if you still have the original OEM tail lights, I would swap them back in and sell those tails on eBay... someone will buy them. 2.) Once you have the original tail lights back in, buy an overlay from Grafixpressions.com for the tails (red out or smoked; your preference). This would make the tail end real clean looking. 3.) Next I would debadge your "Civic" logo and maybe even the Hybrid logo (up to you) because it would make the rear of the car even more clean-looking. 4.) Next, I would ditch that "H" in your back window... That's what a lot of ricers do (no effense).. they LOVE publicizing the fact that they have a Honda lol. 5.) Next, I would consider looking into buying an EX chrome exhaust overlay. Would make your exhaust look a little better than that narrow pipe. 6.) If you don't already have a tint done to the car, I would hit that up... prolly cost $150-200 for a good tint job. These are all fairly inexpensive modifications you can do to the car to make it look ten times better than its current state. If you are willing to spend some more money, I would look into a decent drop for your car (ie: HFP suspension, Eibach Pro-Kit, etc). From what I've seen in the "Show off the FRONT of your Civic" thread, the front looks good with the JDM badge and all. Keep up the good work. I will keep you updated with the local meets here in CT Last edited by tmrC1V1C; 02-17-2009 at 12:08 AM. |
