Spied: 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid

2009 Honda Civic Hybrid [Spied]

Mesh grille behind the chrome logo, sporty Coupe-like front skirt, and amber turn signals in the rear. The rear lip spoiler looks flattened except for the curl at the end.

Perhaps this is also a reveal of the regular Sedan.

here's another article, different photos:
2009 Honda Civic Hybrid: 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid Sedan Gets A Face Lift

i wonder if they'll make a new HFP front lip for that new bumper.

well the hybrid now is not very different from the regular sedan, so chances are that this is what the 09 sedans will look like.

The little bulge above the rear license plate makes it look a little bit like a previous generation civic.

I am waiting to see if all sedans will have that slight front change and fully uncovered before I make any opinion.

Not that big of a change, the front looks pretty cool if you ask me.

the front bumper looks like CSX a.k.a JDM Civic now...

You will find it easier to get mugen kit on the front, at least.

I think you're wrong on that, csxian, the front is still quite flat. At most it is the fender from the coupe.

Funny how the rear turn signals are changing from an "empty condom" to a "full condom" look. I'm torn on which is better. The former look better when it is unlit but it has to be red. The latter is a big white streak across the the tail lights when unlit, but amber when in action.

I always wanted the bumper to be divided in three parts...

Hmm, not all that impressive so far. Not liking the mesh behind the grill on a Hybrid.

Oh yeah, the bumper is still flat but look at the bottom part, the lower grille looks similar, at least I will have a cheaper aftermarket foglight for my CSX soon.
