So I tried Searching... SORRY.... R18 SRI

I tried searching for a DIY SRI.. I had no luck..

My friend told me something about our cars having to many sensors, and it might turn on the check engine light by having a SRI in my car. Is this true?

What kind of SRI did you other R18 people use? I wanted an AEM, but i noticed a lot of people use Fujita... I have no idea what the difference is and I have $500 credit line, first credit card, and I want to spend it on my "baby"...

Do any of you have a link to where you bought yours if you got it online?

any help is appreciated...

Just thought id throw this in as well. I also got into a fender bender today right after work, the guy behind me ran into going about 10mph while I was at a dead stop... Which caused a ricochet and ended in four cars hitting each other most of the damage happend to the guy that hit me. VW GTI hit me... we werent racing I was on a bridge overpass...

Agreed.

I have one credit card with a $15,000 credit line, another with a $500 credit line, and one more with a $5,000 credit line. I never use any of them but they can get you into some real trouble.

Yeah, only use credit if you have the money to pay it off....if you don't you're screwed

and minimum payment doesn't count!

The only thing a minimum payment allows you to do is be in debt forever. I never understand those who say they can afford the minimum payment so they'll be okay.

Well, this has nothing to do with the intake but I don't think I could live without a credit card. You shouldn't be afraid of using your credit cards and you can get some pretty nice rewards cards these days. I pay all my bills, gas, and use my card for everything from groceries to going to the movies and get between 2-5% back on every purchase. I would be spending more money if I used cash.

I say use your credit card I have better credit at 20 than most people will ever have in their lifetime and was even able to finance my car at the lowest interest rate on my own and I only work half the year while I'm outta school lol. If you use it responsibly and don't just charge everything in sight you will be fine...just don't spend more than you make.

Of course you have to stick to it and make sure you don't overspend because finance charges at 12.99%+ will eat up 2-5% savings pretty quickly. I have had 0 finance charges in my 2 years of having credit cards though so I'm pretty happy =)

....CAI FTW lol

i think the rear hfp lip will cover that right up. i had a huge dent on the right side of my rear bumper so i popped it out with a heat gun then put the hfp over it.

Got K&N sri, no cel. Car shut down when the filter got loose though, poped the hood and tighten it up, went back to normal. Sounds great. Nothing to cut or drill to make the thing to fit.

Then again, if you can't afford it with money from your bank account, don't use the credit card. It will get you into trouble, next thing you know you are selling your car just to pay off all the debt.

yep had the same thing happen to me. i didn't tightern the clamps holding the tube into the throttle body and it popped out. as soon as it did and i came to a stop the car shut off. but mine is doing frine now. bought it for 188 from autoanything.com. very pleased with the heat shield and the product. def buy it with money you already have though.
