Headroom in 8thgen Coupe/Sedan

Hello-
I've been looking at the 8thgen EX's (coming from a 7thgen ('04) DX), and cannot wait to purchase one when the '09 model comes out this year. One thing I noticed when I test drove an 08 LX Coupe, was that my head was pretty much touching the ceiling when I was sitting in the car. And I know the sunroof takes away a little over an inch of headroom...

I'm 6'4" and am not sure if an EX Coupe would fit me well...I fit just fine in my 04 DX Coupe, but that is b/c it has almost 2 more inches of headroom than the 8thgens. But I did research and saw the Sedans have a little more headroom, which just may be all the room I need.

Any other tall guys have problems fitting in the Coupes?

Thanks...

Conventional logic is sunroof takes some usable space but looked a both the LX and EX coupes and didn't feel any noticable difference in the front seats. However, I'm not tall and prefer to sit more upright. What I did not notice until trying to clean the rear window is the bulk of the sunroof interior intrusion is skewed toward the back seat area. So, if you are long-legged and run the seat back this might make a difference. It is also important to double check the seat coushion height setting...this make a big difference.

I had the same issue when I first test-drove an 08 Civic... My head was like an inch from the roof. But then I found the magic height adjustment lever. I'm 6'2" with a freakishly long torso, and I just crank mine all the way down - Plenty of room!

in the drivers seat of the LX there is a lever to the left side. it moves the seat up and down. if you have it all the way down then there sould be no problem my dad is 6'4'' and he has plenty of room in my LX.

I'm 6'7" and drive a 08 Sedan w/ no sunroof just fine. One of the few cars I can fit it, I sometimes have to slouch to see stoplights though.

For me I drive my car with the seat all the way at max height and i have about 3 or 4 inches of headroom, when i drive a coupe with a sunroof, my head can hit the roof if im not careful. So im sure that sunroof is a nono is you want more headroom

The rear seat of the coupe is much more cramped than the sedan.
