my r18 intakes just dosent sound the same

my r18 is an 06 civic coupe and ive had my short ram intake for 2 years now and it sounds diffrent then before not as loud is this normal sound fads away after a while?

did you clean it? or just think about it? (not trying to sound like an ass or anything, just wasn't clear)

if you have, then

if not...

i'd probably do it.

i've completely taken off my intake before and washed/cleaned and polished everything (new filter as well) and sounded like brand new.

just a suggestion

hmm maybe its the pipe that makes the sound maybe in eed to clean the pipe but then taking out the pipe is a painin the arse.

any of u guys seen the air filter wrap that goes aroudn the filter wuts the point of that it says to keep watercresst flammable substance.

yeah but the thing is i putted new oil in the filter from the cleaner kit and the oil just gets evaporated when i put hte filter back on?

hmm, since you have an sri, you should never have to replace the firlter, just clean it every 1k miles or so, at leased thats what i've been told
