Welp...3 months into ownership.....

Honda already ordered me a new lip spoiler today due to the paint peeling off my current one....and my A/C sounds like it's having a retard attack whenever I turn it on. Going to drop it off later this week before I go on vacation.

I figured I'd be more upset about incurring repairs so early on into ownership of a brand new vehicle, but surprisingly I'm not. I guess I was just happy that they took care of things with no questions asked except the service employee couldn't tell if my car was an LX or EX...maybe I should be scared!

Thought I'd update those who care to know what the dealer "claims" was the problem with my car. First, they put a newly painted spoiler on the car and the paint is still peeling on the new one. I'll just wait till later to readdress it before the warranty goes out. Second, the noise I supposedly heard when I pushed the A/C button on turned out to be a power steering pump which the dealer says they replaced, yet the noise is still there when the A/C button is pushed. Am I just not used to Honda cars yet and the noise is there on most of the other civics? A loud Whirring noise, then it cuts out, then back on every ten seconds or so.

yes, a characteristic of poor implementation

honda should look at their competitors cars to see why it's a lot less noticeable

I have one but its the LX-SR package the LX is pretty basic, not to mention the way I look at it, for the LX-SR it seems that they have just removed the door trims from an EX. I say this because my trunk has insulation carpet and the suspension at the back is covered with the protective plastic like the EX.

No, it's not. Non-Si sedans have CHROME, Non-Si coupes have BLACK, regardless of the trim.
