One easy step to make your Civic a high HP RWD car!

Holy shit....!

My car feel's like a RWD now and almost caused me to wreck!

I've got about 30,000 miles on my car now with the stock tires on. The front one's are shot to hell and it's only a few miles till metal shows, but I noticed my backs had just a bit left on them. So a few day's ago I took it to the dealer for them to rotate them cause I figured it would be safer having the good tires up on front rather the back.

Good thing I had a friend working there cause without him they wouldn't even touch my car cause the tires were too far gone...

Well just today I felt like going for a spin, and it happened to sprinkle just a bit so the roads are just a tad moist. Everything's going fine till I get out into the country on some sub-par roads. Im coming up to a small sharp turn I like to take but I had a feeling this time I needed to take this one slow, and thank your god that I did.

I was doing maybe 20 or 25, the posted limit for the corner, and like nothing the rear end slides out like butter. I have a '65 Mustang with small tires that would slide out quite easy but was nothing compared to this! At first I didn't mind as I thought I would simply gain traction again but no. My bitch felt like it was on ice just staying sideways. Luckly I gained control after a few moments as there was a car heading my way.

I seriously need to get some money and get me tires, I've had close calls far worse than this due to tires or shitty roads, but I've never lost control like this from something so minor.

But if your looking to have your car feel almost completely neutral like a RWD and have it snap out like something with >700HP, I'll sell you my tires for $20

Just thought I would like to share as this shit woke me up.

If it rains you will probably have a wreck. There is a thread on here about a guy with bald tires that hit the median divider because he didn't get new tires. Beware.

Wow do I really need to explain? It was a joke and wasn't meant to be taken literally... I don't think you even bothered to read what I typed, otherwise both of your statements would have been answered.

Yeah I know... Money's tight right now and I'm in between jobs. This instance made me realize how potentially dangerous this could/would have been.

Oddly enough I was applying for a job at NTB and one of the guy noticed my tires too. Hopefully I'll get a job there and get me a good discount.

During the winter once I had all seasons on the back and winters on the front. It was like the E-Brake was constantly engaged around corners. Sooo dangerous.
