Atomic Blue, Ralleye Red, or Alabaster Silver EX?

Right now, I'm struggling with a decision.

I came to the realization that I cannot afford the Si the way I want it. I want a Fiji Blue with navigation, but I can't afford the $22,000 price tag. I can, however, afford the $20,000 price tag on an EX coupe with Navi and a 5 M/T.

Problem is, I can't find any. Anywhere. I had my hands on one, but it sold right from under me. The dealer told me I'd probably have to order it, and I'd get it some time in August, which sucks, but good things come to those who wait, right?

The problem I now haev is that in order to get in August, so I can take it back to college with me, I need to let him know what color/options I want. I know what options I want, and what I can afford (I'm getting the fog lights installed and navi for sure), but I can't decide on a color now.

I currently own a silver Pontiac Grand Am GT, and while I love that my silver shines more than anyone elses I know, silver always struck me as a conservative, plain color. I want the black interior, I'm pretty certian (I've never seen the gray in real life and up close, but it seems way too light: I love black). I'm also not terribly fond of red (I think it washes out the tailights), but right now, I'm stuck between choosing a Rallye Red or Alabaster Silver. I really liked the sparkle in the silver, but I wonder if I would regret it down the road...I like being showy in a classy way.

I do, however, really like the atomic blue color, but I'm not sure I'm willing to sacrifice the black interior for the light gray one. The black looks amazing, and I dunno...I'm just really torn right now, and not knowing what to do.

If you have advice (preferably) or pictures of any of the aforementioned colors (interior included), PLEASE let me know so I can make this decision.

I would think I would take red over silver right now, because it's slightly more sporty, but the new Civics look pretty dang good in silver. The blue is subtle, but nice. I dunno ><;

I wonder why the Silver Sedan has a gray interior, while the Silver Coupe has a black interior. Very Odd indeed.

To be honest, I'm upset about the lack of color options for the interiors.

Canada apparently gets all color options on the interiors, but only two coupes get black, and thats the silver and red ones. It's unfortunate, because I'm more partial to the blue than the red or silver, I think, but I can't make a judgement until I see better pictures of the gray. I think it's way too light, and reminds me of a skinned mouse.

You could always drive up North and buy a Civic or an Acura CSX or whatever they call the Acura version of the Civic up there.

As for colors, I have the silver. I'm partial to the Atomic Blue, now that I've seen it on a few cars. But darker colors are not practical where I live (it regularly gets over 100 degrees in the summer here).

Interesting: Did not know you could do that. Their cars are U.S.-legal?

I have an atomic blue EX coupe, and I really like the gray interior. When I bought mine, I was more concerned about the interior colour than the exterior so my choices were 1) silver 2) gg In fact I even got the dealer to bring in the atomic blue, with only seeing it on an element. As long as you dont end up with the 'ivory' interior I think you will be more than happy . IF you want some pics of the interior I can send them to you.

A lot of people have said that apeterson, but I'm a college student. I don't street race, go to the track or anything like that. I just like having a little get up and go when I need it.

The Navi seems like it would be cooler for me to have than the Si. I'm worried about Si insurence and gas milage compared to the EX (though it is stll good).

Wilson, if you could show me some pictures of the interior, I would be forever obliged. If you need my contact information, a lot of it is in my profile. If not, I'll PM you my email address.

+1 I'd get an Si and get a cheaper portable navigation system. Si's are a ton of fun. I went driving in the mountains on Memorial Day and it was an awesome experience. But do what's best for you.

And to help you with your color choice:

Mines a 06 Sedan 5MT, Navi in Silver and Gray. I never ever thought I would like a silver car. This is the only Silver Ive seen that pops a little bit waxed and has depth. Not like the Redondo Red on our Accord. But it does pop.

Ive given up on interiors of black or tan and have went with gray in my last few cars. Yes its plain. But easy to keep clean. And always fresh looking.

Heres a few pics of my car.

Hope this has helped.
