My New 2008 EX

Hey everyone

New to 8th civic. I just bought a new 2008 Civic EX Royal Blue Pearl Manual transmission. All I have to say is I LOVE IT!!!! I have put 3k on it so far, just did a Mobile 1 oil change today and put in a drop in K&N air filter. Found 8th Civic searching for oil change information on Google, and have been addicted ever since. Figured I would post some pics after just washing it today....ENJOY!

Yeah bought it like that. Was the only dealership in town with the color I wanted. I've all ready removed the dealership's name sticker off the back which wasn't too bad. The pinstripe is the same kind of sticker. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Btw, about the pinstripe try using a blow dryer. Then slowly heat it up. It should bubble up and you can peal it off.

Nice dude, haven't seen that color around here before.

First thing you should do is get a short shifter with a weighted shift knob. Trust me dude, if you like driving your car now... You'll ******* love it with one of those.

Any recommendations for a shifter?

And yes that color took me a week to find. They told me it was the last one in the state in the trim and options I wanted.

3k miles so far and no probs yet.

I've got the TWM Short shifter with their own shift knob; The Type R with satin finish.

You will love the throw, or lack of, with the short shifter. It's a huge plus. You should definantley get that before any other mod.

The 08s are great. I added the aero kit to mine. Made it stand out alot more compared to other civics. Are you going to do anything else to it?

Get rid of the SULEV sticker on the driver's side rear window. Yeah, the pinstriping too! Do it soon or it will bake itself into the paint over time.
