Bug magnet?

Lately my car has just been pelted by suicidal bugs. I wonder if anybody else has this problem with bugs? They leave their "fluids" (bug guts) on my car. What is an easy way to get it off? If you have it on there for a while will it do damage? I am going to wash my car tomorrow, so it will be nice and clean!

Oh man tar is a bitch! to remove also, especially when they work on the roads and fresh tarmac/asphalt roads are layed down and it goes everywhere, extremely nasty and destructive as well with bugs too. Thanks 6speed for your info.

I have done quite a few trips from Binghamton all the way to I-87S on Route 17, and the bugs are plentiful on that damn road. Every time, my front bumper is completely covered in dried up bug guts, as well as the backs of my side mirrors!
