A/C Cooling?

Just took in my civic for a lack of cabin cooling in A/C mode. As suspected, the refrigerent level was low, and the dealer gladly evacuated it and topped it up to 45KG as per the specs.

I tried it again, and it wasn't that much better. We have an 04 Civic as well and it blows it (no pun intended) away for cooling effiency.

Does anyone else find the A/C lacking.

Thanks.

Check this thread on the A/C topic:

Anybody else think their A/C is weak?

For my Si I am quite pleased thus far. Temps about 105 yesterday and the AC was cranking along just peachy...particularly compared to my last vehicle. GMC Z71 Offroad. The AC was horrible in that truck.

Its a very efficiently designed ac unit. designed to kick off and on under variouse loads. I am coming froma Ford Contour and when the AC was on the car was bogged down. Idont notice it in the Civic which is good. Also help to conserve gas mileage too.

Well, it might be efficient but cetainly not effective. At least not as effective as our 04 Civic, nor our 02 Civic for that matter.
