I went to my dealer and they pulled up the TSB for my negative camber. I explained that I was saving them money since my car has only 250 miles on it, the tires are still in great shape with no irregular wear yet. That if they just put on the new rear upper control arms listed in the TSB, they obviously wouldn't have a need to shell out the dough for the new tires. He went to the back of the car, looked at it and said, "Holy crap, you're right!" So he proceeded to order me these new upper rear control arms and the bolts for free and agreed to install these parts free under warranty. I'm SOOOOOOO glad I purchased that $0 deductable extended warranty...lol
![]() I highly suggest everyone take advantage of this!!! good luck, sgtmorph |

I called and made an appointment yesterday. I'm running aftermarket 17" wheels and tires. They are doing mine with no questions asked.
It's more about correcting the rear arms than the tires right? The tire replacement part is just for those with new or low mileage cars to get new tires if they are worn because of this. It sounds like your dealer just doesn't want to do the work. I'd call another one if I were you! |

That's the problem I didn't want new tires, I wanted to change the upper arms before my tires were worn unevenly. I did complain that there was vibration and noise, but the dealer took it out for a drive and of course "Could no replicate problem" was the answer. The service writer's stance was "we're not replacing your control arms since your tires are still look new at 2500 miles."

I know it dude.....
I used to work as a GM mechanic so I'm versed in TSB's and warranty work and such. I'm just excited that my dealer is hookin' me up with the new camber arms despite the fact that my tires are still new and against the "rules" of the TSB... ![]() |

Im sitting at the dealer right now, they are replacing the suspension components for me as we speak, i think HOA got on their asses about it. They are also inspecting my tires for a uneven wear pattern but if there is one i will have to take it up with HOA myself to get things replaced.
