Angry Has anyone had this happen:

I bought my car last week and only noticed today that, when I stand directly centered behind my car, it almost looks like I have a slight negative camber. It's not extremely out of whack but it's enough to where I guarantee everyone could notice it if I pointed it out. It urks me the more I see and think about it. Is this normal?
Good thing I bought the extended warranty....(6yr/80,000 miles)...I'm gonna stop by my dealer 2morrow and see what he thinks.

Was it both rear wheels? because our cars actually come from the factory with about one degree of negative camber in the rear. If it was only one of the wheels, then maybe the ground that the car was sitting on wasn't level. Or maybe you hit a pothole and are in need of an alignment.

Doesn't apply to 08's and you have to show irregular treadwear to be compensated/have the fix applied. GL though.

mines an '07 leftover.....i got it last week with only 3 miles on it...

it can't hurt to stop by an address the situation.....maybe they'll at least hook me up with the "new" camber arms now to avoid having to dish out money for new tires later...???

I'll post my results in the afternoon....

06 and 07 civics have -.8 degrees of camber in the rear. 08 civic have a significantly less amount.

it is normal. if it bother you that much, bring your car in and complain...tell them you would like the TSB done before you need to get new tires.
