Mileage on New Car - Delivery???
Hey.
My buddy just bought a new Civic Coupe SI and he ordered it brand new. The problem is that there were 20km on the car when he received it. For those of you who bought brand new cars, were there any km's on it when you bought it?? Is this normal?? |

Let's hope they hit V-tec!
I run the shit out of all my cars right after buying them, Believe what you want but the first 20 miles on your engine are all about what you end up with.

yeh mine had 3km n was never moved outta the showroom, so thats the one i got. they said they didnt let people test drive the Si coupes on sedans because the people that usally buy the coupes care more about the milage and test pilots then on the sedan. i dont kno if this is true or not tho, prob just to reassure me nobody drove my car.

had 15 km on it and I specified that I wanted it brand new no test drive whatsoever.
Was a bit disapointed since he basicly told me they would not drive it and they actually did take a test drive with it. But 15km is better than 200km . So yes 15-30kms is very reasonable. |
